Take control of your shop

A transfer of skills that makes you independent in the day-to-day running of your online shop.

  • Administering the platform (Shopify, WooCommerce).

  • Managing the product catalogue, orders and customers.

  • Reading and interpreting analytics data (Google Analytics, built-in reports).

  • Digital marketing basics applied to e-commerce (email marketing, social media, paid search).

Who is it for?

  • Business owners and marketing teams running an online shop.

  • Retailers moving from a physical shop to online sales.

  • Teams that want to bring the management of their online shop in-house.

Training built around your daily work

The programme does not try to cover every feature of the platform. It focuses on the tasks your team will actually carry out after the session: creating or editing a product, processing an order, checking a payment, handling a routine request and finding the figures that matter for running the shop.

Before the training, a call identifies the participants' roles, their level and the points that currently cause hesitation or mistakes. Someone in charge of the catalogue does not have the same needs as a manager who mainly wants to understand sales and costs. The content can therefore be split between a common core and sequences tailored to each person's responsibilities.

The exercises use cases close to your business, so that participants can repeat what they saw during the session. The training remains a transfer of skills, however: it does not replace day-to-day management, technical maintenance or an ongoing marketing consultancy engagement.

Depending on your needs, the training can be spread over several half-days, giving the team time to put what they have learned into practice. The number of sessions, their length and their price are then set out in the proposal before work starts. Access rights granted to participants are checked beforehand, so that nobody discovers during the session that an essential feature is out of reach. If the shop is not live yet, the exercises can be done in a staging environment that already exists or is included in the proposal, with demonstration data supplied or approved by you.

Sessions are held remotely by video call; on-site training is possible on quote.

Formats

  • Full day, up to 5 participants.

  • Half day, up to 5 participants.

  • Additional participants, beyond 5 and up to 8, priced per person and per session.

A half day is not priced at half a full day: the preliminary assessment, the tailored programme, the course materials and the access checks take the same work whatever the length of the session. Only the time spent together changes.

Beyond 8 participants, hands-on exercises on your own shop lose their value: two sessions are better than sacrificing practice. The starting price is shown at the top of this page; the price of each format is set out on the quote, and our other services are listed on the pricing page.

How the service works

  1. Assessment: evaluating your level and identifying your needs.

  2. Programme: tailored content based on your real shop.

  3. Training: practical sessions with exercises on your platform.

  4. Follow-up: a period of questions by email after the session, within the limits set out below.

Deliverables

  • Tailored course materials (PDF).

  • Access to the practical exercises and their answers.

  • A checklist of e-commerce good practice.

  • Two weeks of email support after the training for questions about the content covered in the session.

This training is also part of the e-commerce package, alongside the creation of your online shop.

Frequently asked questions

Does the training take place on my own shop? Yes. All exercises are carried out directly on your shop, so the learning is concrete and tied to your shop and your use cases.

Is a training programme provided? Yes. A detailed programme and a proposal are provided before each session.

What does the post-training email support cover? It covers questions about the content seen during the session. It does not cover running your shop for you, technical fixes, support for your end customers, settings not covered in the training, or changes to and maintenance of the shop.
