Taner OKUR, founder of OKTAN Agency
OKTAN Agency is run by Taner OKUR, an independent provider based near Paris who combines a retail background with years of hands-on IT experience.
Before moving into IT, I was a retailer. From logistics to sales, I experienced the whole value chain from the inside: customer relationships, stock management, the pressure of the numbers. That first career gives meaning to what I do today.
Passionate about technology, I then built my expertise in IT systems and infrastructure. Several years with an IT services company on large-scale projects gave me a solid technical culture, disciplined working methods and a real ability to steer complex projects.
Today, commerce and technology come together. I have helped several online retailers create and run their shops, and designed websites for businesses in different sectors. These projects confirmed my specialisation. My retail experience helps me understand your business challenges, and my technical expertise aims for solutions that are fast and secure.
I make a point of running every project with rigour and method. Taking the time to do things properly is not a luxury: it is what produces a reliable, lasting result.

OKTAN Agency is a Storyblok Partner, the content management platform behind this website and the sites we deliver, and a Shopify Partner, the e-commerce platform on which we build and develop online shops. These statuses are granted by the publishers themselves and give access to their technical resources and support.
Working with OKTAN Agency from outside France
Most of the work (website creation, development, SEO, content management) is carried out remotely, which is how we work with clients in France too. An on-site visit remains possible, quoted according to the nature of the project and its location.
We work with professional clients, in English or French, at times that suit them. Quotes and invoices are in euros; the tax treatment that applies to your country is set out on the quote.
